Sai Dharam Tej (born 15 October 1986) is an Indian film actor who works in the Telugu film industry.[1] Sai Dharam Tej made his debut as a lead in the film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam, directed by Ravi Kumar Chowdary opposite Regina Cassandra.

Early life[edit]

Tej did his schooling at Nalanda School, Hyderabad and completed his graduation from St. Mary's College, Hyderabad.[2]

Career[edit]

He made his debut with the film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, though the first film he actually acted in was YVS Chowdary's Rey, which was completed in 2013.[3] Release of the film was delayed until 2015 and was released as his second film. His next release in 2015 was Subramanyam For Sale which was commercial success. In 2016 Tej's Supreme released which is also a big hit. His film Jawaan directed by B. V. S. Ravi released on 1 December 2017. The film received negative reviews from critics. He has also made a special appearance in a Youtube Channel named VIVA in the episode, "Drink and Drive". His next films, with A. Karunakaran and Gopichand Malineni, are subsequently released in 2018 and got mixed reviews.[4][5] His 2019 film Chitralahari had one critic calling the character Vijay in the film is the best in Tej's career till date.[6]His latest film Prathi roju panduge released in 2019 received positive reviews and was a commercial success[7]
